FROM THE READING CORNER · A TAYLOREADS BOOK REVIEW
Book: The Enchanted Greenhouse · Author: Sarah Beth Durst
A cozy little escape that surprised me
I picked up The Enchanted Greenhouse right before vacation because I wanted something cozy and magical that I could just get wrapped up in. And this book? It surprised me so much — because it gave me exactly that, and then some.
It’s warm and whimsical, with enough mystery and adventure tucked into the story that I genuinely wanted to keep reading to find out what happened next. It never lost that comforting feeling, even when the plot kept moving.
And the romance… I loved it. It’s such a sweet slow burn. There’s chemistry and just enough tension to make you root for the characters, but it isn’t spicy. If you want a romance without explicit scenes, this is a lovely choice.
I think my favorite thing, though, was how the book felt. It’s one of those worlds you can settle right into: cozy, comforting, magical. Before long, I found myself caring about this strange little collection of characters and the connections growing between them.
I went in expecting a cute vacation read and came out genuinely loving it.
My reading-room verdict: If you’re craving cozy fantasy with magic, found-family vibes, a sweet slow-burn romance, and just enough adventure to keep the pages turning, add this one to your fall TBR. 🌿✨
Let’s talk books: Have you read The Enchanted Greenhouse? I’d love to know which part of its magical world stayed with you.
